If you’ve ever read the description of the woman in Proverbs 31, you may have felt a tad overwhelmed.

I mean, she has all these amazing characters and she accomplishes so much. And all before the sun rises! Often times, when I read that chapter, the lies of my insufficiency start to rise up in me.

I am not always a “wife of noble character.” Just ask my husband. I am definitely NOT a morning person, so the getting up while it’s still dark part sounds really sad to me. “Blessed” is for sure not what my children call me. I couldn’t consider a field and buy it, because I stink at making decisions. Seriously, like the worst. I always have big dreams of entrepreneurship, but I’m too scared, too uncertain, too worried. When I compare myself to this woman, without remembering who I am in Christ, I feel pretty down and out. She is wonder woman and I am left thinking, “What kind of woman am I?”

The MADE woman thinks: I am dynamic; a force to be reckoned with.

She remembers who she is in Christ. She is God’s masterpiece and is able to do the things God has set before her because He is her strength.

She is not all things to all people, but she is everything to her Maker.

She is a mom, a wife, a friend…daughter of the King.

She works in homes, offices, schools, hospitals…all her work is done for the Lord.

She is kind, generous, compassionate, loving…she bears good fruit.

She is simply complex,
strong and meek,
proud, yet humble,
seriously funny.

Every hat she wears, she wears perfectly.
