The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10
“I believe in person to person. Every person is Christ to me, and since there is only one Jesus, that person is the one person in the world at that moment.” -Mother Teresa
There once was a child, who may or may not be my own, who was in some trouble. This mother, feeling frustrated and at her whit’s end, lamented, “Don’t you even feel sad about what you’ve done?” The child quickly retorted, “Well yah, I’m going to be in trouble aren’t I?”
You see, it’s so easy to be engaged with what is happening to us. To worry about how we will be affected; to see ourselves as the center of our circumstance. Paying attention to our own lives is easy. After all, we’re the ones living it.
God is calling us to something bigger; something beyond our own lives.
The MADE Woman is engaged…with God and with others.
She makes time to meet with her Jesus.
She treasures His word and speaks of His goodness.
She delights in her family; nothing makes her feel more blessed.
She knows when to put the phone down, turn the tv off, let the laundry sit and lift her head up.
She relishes these moments and refuses to miss a single one.
She makes space for friendship and community.
She puts the needs of others before herself, and yet she wants for nothing…
Her life is full because she puts her life fully in the hands of her Maker.
